Information

What is Rush?

Rush is our recruitment period where we get to know potential new members. It's a chance to learn about Kappa Sigma, meet our brothers, and see if our fraternity is the right fit for you. There is no obligation to join by attending events.

When does Rush happen?

Rush occurs during the first few weeks of each semester. Contact us or check back for the full Fall 2026 schedule.

Do I need to attend every event?

While we encourage you to attend as many events as possible, it's not required. We understand you have other commitments. Focus on what interests you most.

What should I expect?

Expect to meet a diverse group of brothers from different backgrounds and majors. We host everything from casual hangouts to formal dinners. Just be yourself and come ready to have a good time.

Who can rush?

Any MIT undergraduate student is welcome to rush Kappa Sigma. We look for individuals with strong character, academic ambition, and a genuine interest in brotherhood.
