2009 Founders' Day a Success
On October 9th- 11th the Gamma-Pi chapter celebrated its annual Founders’ Day. Activities included gathering at Flat Top Johnny’s in Cambridge for drinks and pool, an Alumni vs. Undergraduate football game that was dominated by the Undergraduate team (with a little help from a few of the ’95 Alumni), and a Bar-B-Q where undergraduates and alumni mingled together and talked about the chapter. Saturday night brought all of the 30+ alumni together with the undergraduates for a formal dinner. Here, Matthew Richards ’04 was presented with the John A. Seeger Alumnus of the Year Award for his service as RA for the chapter throughout his graduate tenure. The dinner was topped off with a singing of Kappa Sigma Dream Girl by KS’13 to all of the wives and girlfriends in attendance, as well as stories from many of the alumni.
