    17 Pledges in Fall Rush

    The Gamma Pi chapter of the Kappa Sigma fraternity is proud to announce the end of a great fall Rush. With the dedication and support of the entire brotherhood, specifically Rush Chair Steven Dickerson, seventeen freshmen have pledged.

    This marks the third consecutive year that the Gamma Pi chapter has pledged more than 15 new members. The brothers of the Gamma Pi chapter are very excited to introduce the MIT community to the Kappa Sigma Class of 2013!

     “Joe Salinas, I am from Superior, Co. Unfortunately, there are no beaches but I love the mountains and rain.”

    Samuel Reineman (San Diego, CA)
     Sam, before coming to Boston, spent his days in temperate San Diego, surfing, sailing, rowing and enjoying the excellent weather. Boton has been rough on Sam but he is enjoying the changing seasons and his rude academic awakening at MIT.”

     “I’m Lane Pertusi. I’m rook 13 and course 6. I enjoy long walks on the beach and watching the sunset with my pledge class.”

     “I’m Andrew Sommer. Rook 14. I’m studying mechanical engineering and am on the sailing team. I too enjoy long walks and candlelight dinners.”
