This summer, our international fraternity held it’s 67th Biennial Grand Conclave in San Antonio, Texas. Four dedicated brothers represented our Gamma-Pi Chapter: former Grand Master Stephen Fournier (’09), Brother David Stein (’10), Grand Master Ryan Schoen (’11), and Brother Taylor Gilbert (’11).
We are happy to let all of you know that during the course of the weekend in San Antonia, Gamma-Pi accumulated the following awards:

    • Outstanding Brothers in Action Program Award
    • Outstanding BIA for Pledges Program Award
    • Outstanding Communications Program Award
    • Outstanding Single Communication Award
    • Campus Involvement Excellence Award
    • Outstanding Academic Program Award
    • Chapter Intramural Achievement Award
    • Outstanding Alumnus Advisor Award - Sanjay Divakaran
    • Outstanding Grand Scribe Award - T. Ryan Schoen
    • Champions Quest Achievement Award - 50 Members or Largest Recruitment on Campus
    • District Attendance Award - Most Members times Miles Traveled

Most importantly, the Chapter received the Founders' Award of Chapter Excellence, indicating that we are once again one of the top Chapters of the Kappa Sigma Fraternity. We are very proud to receive this award, as it represents the year of hard work we did for our chapter. It is also our second FACE award in three years.
We wanted to thank you all of the alumni for your help and support of our Chapter over the years.

We especially look forward to seeing all of you back at Founder’s Day this year in October to celebrate these achievements with us.
