The Brothers of Gamma-Pi would like to invite you to this year’s Founders’ Day, which will be held on October 9th - 11th. Please complete the form here to register for Founders' Day.
There are a couple additions to this year’s schedule that I would like to give you more details about. First, on Saturday before our alumni meeting, we are planning on having one of our alumni give the Explanatory Lecture if there is enough interest. Second, Sunday morning, we will be having a career and networking workshop if there is enough interest. At this, we will have a few alumni talk about their careers and provide advice

Sunday: Career and Networking @ 11:00 am - 12:00 pm BBQ @ 12:00 pm

This past year's Founders Day was a tremendous success. We had 26 alumni register for the weekend!
Friday night, Brothers gathered at Flat Top Johnny's in Cambridge for pool and drinks. Saturday morning, the alumni and undergraduates gathered for the second annual alumni vs. undergraduates football game. Unfortunately, bad weather prevented the game but everyone stuck around for the afternoon barbecue. There, current undergrads met and talked to alumni from years past. The event saw good turnout thanks to the great food.
After the barbecue was a poker tournament and Alumni/EC meeting where interested alumni heard about the current state of the chapter. That night was the formal Founders' Day Dinner, with well over 20 alumni in attendance. At dinner, Michael Metzger '04 received the John A. Seeger Alumnus of the Year Award for his contributions to the house undergraduate academics and his meaningful contributions to emergency response research. Additionally, Eugene Glover '97 received an award in recognition of his enduring commitment to the Chapter for his many years of consistent service to the corporation.
Before dessert, the pledges sang Kappa Sigma Dream Girl to the girlfriends and the wives of the brothers and alumni. We also heard stories from many of the alumni from their days in the chapter.
